Vitamin D - The wonder Vitamin!

Reports from well respected health communities are finding more and more good things about vitamin D. People with the right amount of Vitamin D have astounding benefits and Vitamin D deficiency are really bad.

Foods that are high in vitamin D are oily fish but mercury concerns limit use to twice a week.

The best way to get vitamin D is through sunlight, but with the fear of cancer a lot of people have started using sunblock to block the absorbsion of UV rays which is necessary for vitamin conversion.

D helps bones and muscles grow strong and healthy. Low levels of vitamin D can
lead to problems such as rickets, a deformity mainly found in children.

diseases.

with skin cells to produce vitamin D. But many people worry about getting skin
cancer and skin damage from the sun. As a result they cover their skin or wear
sunblock or stay out of the sun.
